"The school’s approach towards discipline is for every student to acquire self-discipline and be responsible conduct so as to contribute to the overall well-being of all in the school. Every child has the right to expect a conducive teaching and learning environment. Likewise, every student has the responsibility to contribute to that environment."

  • Student absent from an examination / test for any reason whatsoever will not be re-examined. They will be promoted in the class according to the average grade obtained as may be decided by the principal. The decision of the Principal will be final.
  • Absence from examination for any subject involves deduction in marks/lesser grade for the subject which will automatically effect the students standing in the merit order.
  • A Student found resorting to unfair means in any test or examination will be debarred from the whole test examination.
  • Results once declared will be final. Cases of students detained will not be reconsidered.
  • Examination pattern is as follows:
  • 1. Pre-Primary Section : Monthly assessments & semester examinations.
  • 2. Std. 1st to 8th : Monthly assessments semester examinations.
  • 3. Std. 9th to 10th : Unit test & semester examinations.
  • General performance in all these examination will be taken into account for promotion.
  • Weekly assessments :
  • 1. Unit Test : A
  • 2. First semester examination : B
  • 3. Second terminal Examination : C
  • A/B/C carry equal marks. The average of A+B+C of the compulsory subjects in each class will be taken into consideration for deciding promotion to the next class.
  • Consideration will also be given to day-today works, homework, daily lesson, good conduct, regularity and attendance.
  • A Student Should secure 35% i.e. D grade in each individual head of passing to be eligible for promotion to higher standard.
  • A Student who fails twice in same class will have to discontinue his/her studies in the school.
  • A Student to be promoted may be advised to leave the school particularly if his/her conduct and discipline is not found satisfactory during his tenure of the academic year.
  • The periodic progress reports as well as final examination reports will be given only to students on the days finalised for the results.
  • In cash under some unavoidable circumstances the child is not able to collect the report then the report can be collected by the parents late from the fee counter as and when decided by the school authorities.
  • To be always friends with one another and respectful towards the elders in and out side of the school premises.
  • To avoid vulgarity in our talk and behaviour.
  • To accept whatever work is assigned with joy and pride.
  • To offer help to any unattended visitor one happens to meet in the school premise.
  • To stand for respect when any Teacher enters or passes through any class room in which you happen to be alone or with your class­mates.
  • To be courteous and pay regard to the officials and the other teams of different houses.
  • To respect the liberty and rights of other pupils in and outside the school per mises.
  • To respect and preserve school property and report immediately to the teacher such damage or danger to such property, which you may observe.
  • To avoid throwing papers, in the school premise or out of the windows, to pick up such paper when found and put them in dust bins.
  • To learn and observe good manners everywhere.
  • The School has only source of income to meet the recurring expenses of the fees. Hence, the fee structure is to be changed when need arises to meet the expenditure. If such changes are to be made, parents will be informed through a circular well in advance before a new academic year starts.
  • All School fees and stationery charges should be paid in cash directly in the school office.
  • The school fees must be before the 15th of each month. Fees are also accepted in advance for a full term or a full year.
  • Those who have not paid their fees by the 15th of the month. If not excused by special arrangement, are liable to pay a surcharge of Rs. 5/- per days. If the fees are not paid by the end of the month, the student may be suspended fine will be imposed if fees have not been paid for two or more consecutive months.
  • If the fees are not paid for three months, the name of the students is liable to be struck off from the roll.
  • Pupils will not be allowed to appear for the terminal and the final examination, unless al I dues are paid, the result of the examinations, tests conducted by the school will not be communicated to the students.
  • Those students who leave the school in the month previous to any vacation must pay the fees for the vacation period.
  • School Uniform is Compulsory on all school days and on all school function students must wear the prescribed uniform - exact in colour and pattern, failing which the students may be sent home under intimation to the parents.
  • The girls must have their hair plaited or tied back, if it reaches the shoulders. If ribbons are worn, they must be white. No fancy hair clips to be worn. Nail polish / lip colouring strictly prohibited.
  • The boys should get their hair cut short a little above the ear lobes. Hair should not touch the collar or the eyebrow.
  • Nails must be kept short and clean.
  • The uniform shall be worn every day. Any student who comes to school without the uniform or whose appearance is in any way untidy is liable to be sent home.
  • Students are not permitted to wear any kind of jewellery / Sunglasses except permitted spectacles/ Use of Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited in the School Premises.
  • No leave of absence is granted except for serious reason and only on previous written intimation by parents or guardians in the leave record page provided in this dairy.
  • When a child is ill for a prolonged period, the parents/guardians must write and inform the Principal, along with the medical certificate.
  • Name of the student is liable to be struck off from the Roll for unauthorised absence from the school for three months.
  • Except on duly certified grounds no extension of vacation is allowed. A fine will be imposed on the defaulter in this regard.
  • Pupils who are convalescing after an infectious disease and are exposed to any infectious disease will be allowed to attend school only after permission is obtained from the doctor.
  • A student will not be allowed to leave the school for, part of the day unless he/she produces a note in the dairy signed by his/her parent/guardian giving valid reason.
  • The Principal will then decide whether to grant the permission or not Medical appointments should be made after school hours unless there is an emergency.
  • Attendance on the first day of school is compulsory. Those found absent without prior leave will be fined with Rs. 25/- In case of illness a valid medical Certificate must be produced.
  • Pupils who are absent from periodical tests and other examinations are not eligible for prizes and other awards/rewards.
  • Punctuality is essential at all times and children who contravene this rule without valid reason will be penalized.
  • They should arrive at the school 15 minutes before the last bell. Once the gate is closed, they will not be allowed to enter the school. If a child continues to come late after getting 3 late remarks, he/she will be sent back home.
  • The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of pupil's books pen, money etc. Each pupil is responsible for his/her own belongings.
  • Silence must be observed in the school premises. There should not be any noise at the change of periods.
  • Students will not be allowed to meet the parents/visitors during school hours.
  • Students are not be allowed to use the school telephone, nor will they be allowed to take any phone calls.
  • Writing or scrabbling on the walls or causing damage to school property in any form will be treated as a breach of discipline .Any such act shall entitle punishment and recover the cost, even if done accidentally.
  • All students must possess a copy of the school calendar which is to be brought to school every day.
  • Students are not permitted to enter any class room other than their own, unless authorized by a teacher.
  • No collection of any cash or kind should be made without taking sanction from the Principal. Any reports in this matter will make the students liable for disciplinary action.
  • Pupils should realize that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct in the school on the part of the pupil will make them liable for disciplinary action.
  • In case of poor performance in studies, serious misbehaviour, the concerned pupil will be given a warning in the blue list. At two warnings, the child's name will be issued in Black List, which will lead to dismissal of the pupil from the school.
  • Speaking in English shall always be encouraged in school and even in private conversation.
  • No student will be excused from physical training without a valid Doctors Medical certificate.
  • No student should bring to school any object liable to prove a source of disturbance.
  • Students should keep their classroom and school premises clean and make use of the litter bins provided.
  • Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or wilfully observed mischievous or is found guilty of malpractice in connection with examination or has committed an act of serious indiscipline or misbehaviour or who, in the opinion of the Head of School, has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupil, may be expelled permanently or removed from the school for a specified period by the Head of the school as per the provisions contained in the secondary school code of government of Maharashtra.
  • Every student shall endeavour to keep up the high tone and good name of the school by his/her manner and discipline.
  • No private tuition to be taken from the teacher who teacher's the child in school, either the class Teacher or the Subject Teacher.
  • Attendance at School functions such as children's day, Teacher's day, Sports day, Independence day, republic day, etc. is very essential.
  • The medium of instruction of all the classes is English.
  • The management or any member of the staff will not be responsible, not shall be held liable for any accident/injury sustained by the student in the school promises/ class room/ laboratory/ play ground or during visits to education picnic/tours.
  • No parents/ guardians will be allowed to accompany the students on the result day. In case student is absent then, they may collect it later from school fee counter on the day and date as may be announced by the Principal.
  • All the students are required to see the notice board daily for various instructions / programmes / class tests / returning of book etc., and are bound to compile with the rules prescribed from time to time.
  • The general rules enumerated above may be modified/ altered at any time by the Principal.
